This application presents itself as a straightforward and practical tool for viewing medical image files in the DICOM format (*.dcm, *.dicom). Users are able to access and preview DICOM files located on their Android devices, web hard drives, DVDs, CDs, or PACS systems with ease, offering a user experience comparable to that of a PACS viewer.

It should be noted that while the app functions as a DICOM file viewer, it is not a PACS (picture archiving and communication system) and is strictly intended for non-medical purposes such as file viewing and testing only.

• The file explorer functionality allows users to navigate through folders and locate DICOM files effortlessly, supporting file formats such as *.dcm, *.dicom, and *.jpg.
• While certain compressed DICOM video formats may not be accessible, the viewer enables users to watch dicom file videos, adjust window levels, and read stored dicom tag information.

This application is currently in a prototype phase and may have limitations in functionality. It is worth noting that not all DICOM compression types are supported at this time. Continuous enhancements are planned for this tool in the future.
